ANYBODY VISIT JAMAICA?? Looking for advice on the best hotel Montego Bay area.?

My brother and family have stayed at Riu-Ochi nice but more for the mature customer.
And Gran Bahia- Runaway Bay Inclusive BUT you have to book the restaurants as soon as you get there they get packed quickly and not all the drinks are free!!
He was supposed to get married at the Rose Hall however they cancelled because of re-furbs- (they did offer him a 2week free stay the next year for his honey moon)
However he's been to Jamaica several times and has said he's going to stay at Rose Hall.HE SAID HE LOVED THIS ONE THE BEST!!!!
He's in the know about the Hotels here and I've checked them out for him before he comes because I live here.
Oh and he loves the golf course!!!
I know there in a different area but more than likely its the same treatment and service.

I have been to Jamaica and loved it! You have the right idea of wanting to stay in a 4 star or above because if you have ever heard a "horror" story of Jamaica 9 out of 10 times if you ask them where they stayed it is usually not one that I personally anyhow could ever recommend.

Are you interested in staying in the Montego Bay area or have you considered the Negril or the Ocho Rios area? There are several possibilities is why I ask. There are resorts you are able to stay at that gives you on average exchange privileges to where you have access to 11 restaurants, could be more depending. Is this for a family or for a couple? That is another question that would determine recommendation?

If you are able to provide further information, I will check back later to try and better answer the question and maybe a recommendation or two for you!

I went to jamaica and staed at a realy cool Beachs resort it was AMAZINGGGG and the beach was BEAUTIFUL!!

I loved Gran Bahia, Montego Bay. It is brand new, all suites face the ocean, all inclusive, great pool area and really nice beach. Even more so, I loved the people. We stayed at Gran Bahia twice last year and are going back in November.

First, great vacation choice! ok i can tell you about 2
1. Sunset Beach Resort & Spa its fabulous. great beach, lots of watersport activities to choose from you also have 5 restaurants and 5 bars to choose from! and its all inclusive. check out their website.

2. Breezes Montego Bay... great beach also lots of restaurants to choose from, the rooms are lovely and you can ask for the type of bed you want! all inclusive too. you can have all the meals, drinks watersport and they do airport transfer too!

there are also countless of sightseeing to go so ask the travel department at which ever hotel you plan on staying on the various tours they will be having for the week. if there is anything else you need to know dont be afraid to ask! they accept credit cards too but you will need some Jamaican currency just incase there is something you want to buy on your tours.

just go and enjoy your trip to the fullest..make sure you have fun ad soak up the sun!!!! ( oh make sure you have sunscreen too) ENJOY!
