lez girl, ah didnt know you coulda read minds. ah was blue vex when dey declare it ah holiday on saturday. What is d use of the holiday on ah Saturday? I believe that all public holidays should fall on ah Friday or ah Monday. (Divali should always be on ah Friday so me ent have to worry bout getting up early d next day).

Hear nah, ah almost leggo some bad words to one ah meh supervisor yesterday oui. Walk in meh office, bout 1:30 yest afternoon, and tell meh well Have ah happy eid eh, they declare Friday ah public holiday.
Well yuh know yuh gul get happy. and excited. and happy. ah start to think about all the things that i could do with meh day off. and ah ask him, serious? dey giving we d day off? (cause i didnt listen to d news during the day nah)

d moddas **** go start to laugh and say no, he thought that i was going an call ah holiday. dat f-ing son of ah ******.

but ah done know why he say that, cause tuesday the workers protest and they (management) feel that we going and "sick out" so since wednesday he asking when is the holiday.

but back to the question, as long as the holiday not shortening my work week, i vex!

I feel that once the holiday fall on what is known as the weekend to most of the country, then we should get a day oof, I don't really care for the alcohol, but I am sure alot of others do!! happy eid!!

dread rum does sell all de time ? Is only play whe does stop for ah religious holiday, and if yuh have to play if have de man on de road taking mark.
IF dey try to stop alco sales on dem holiday people go jus stock up de day before, Trini love dey drink man, maybe tooooo much.

Is ah crying shame.Ah get so vex dat de holiday gone and fall on a SATURDAY.Oh gorn man,leh we get ah break nah!!

And ah only find out about it yesterday and blue vex.AH was telling ah fren ah need ah res and he sayin bout ent EID is SATURDAY.Gyul ah release so much steam ah cuda run ah locomotive.stuepssssssss!!!

But wah we go do gyul.For we it go be jus another holiday but for the Muslim community its a special day for them.

With that said,I would like to extend Eid Mubarak,Happy Eid,to the Musilm community.

Well, i don't think about the alcohol, but yes it does annoy me. I like it best when it falls on a Friday or a Sunday. I like long, nice, enjoyable weekends.

Yuh mus get vex, 'specially when some people like daily paid getting Friday off, and monthly paid, especially in the service industry, have to go to wuk. It not fair. An' wuss if yuh is a Muslim.
