If an ATM machine shows the cirrus sign, you can use it in that machine regardless of which country you are in.
I've used mine many times around the world

Most Jamaican ATM machines use CIRRUS cards. They worked for me. Montego bay is a tourist area and you'll surely be able to find machines there.

There are ATMs with the Cirrus sign in Jamaica, but my suggestion would be to use Cool Cash machines, which are available in some hotels and in the resort areas, as well as the airports. To be honest, I'm not sure the Cirrus ones all issue cash in US dollars.

I have a debit visa card and was able to access my money at any ATM machine.

I don't have a cirrus logo card but was in Jamaica and my Visa logo did nit work at Atm or tour desk at resort.Got married there thank god we had alot of visa logo gift cards to use that was preloaded and not linked to any account.I later found out that I could has used my card had I called my bank and advised them of my travels.Call the card issuer and make sure I say...
