Money -preferably American dollars is what most hard working JAMAICANS NEED MOST.but if you want to bring a token gift Jamaicans are very style conscience any trendy article of clothing will be appreciated |

I am fortunate to have many Jamaican friends from all my travels. With each visit I do give cash as well as some small gift items. For my female friends I give books, women magazines like Elle, Glamour, Etc., Bath and Body Work items. For the men I give baseball caps, t-shirts, wallets, socks. For their children I do crayons, coloring books, school bags, composition books, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
No matter what you choose to give it will be appreciated. |

If you know the person by a phone card and ask them if they want a gift. They should tell you what they want and if you can't do that give them money or a gift you would give an American. |
