St Thomas- Ritz Carlton is awesome.
St John- we rented a house. nice and private *wink
Grand Cayman- nice. fun restaurants. lots of Canadians work on this island. easy to get around. I stayed at the Westin.
St. Martin- rented villa. but island too crowded for my taste.
Anguilla- not bad. I liked it better than St. Martin
St. Lucia- I have not been yet, But My gf has been twice. She said Ladera was place to be.

No matter which island you stay on, take a boat trip and get off the island to really enjoy the Caribbean.

My fav are USVI. bring passport and sail through to BVI. There are islands that you have to swim ashore to get to the bar bc no dock! awesome- Soggy Dollar Bar. Also, the Willy T- sunken pirate ship in a cove. restaurant/bar- crazy good. Naught Nymph speed boat rental. You get a captain and he takes you to all these places.

You gotta try Grand Cayman DJ. It is wonderful.

Cayo Coco, Cuba is such an extremely romantic part of the island. It's by the cayos (keys) and just gorgeous. It's a little secluded and perfect for a honeymoon. It's a 45 min drive into the main town and you can easily visit and tour different places on the island of Cuba.
I totally recommend it....the water, sand, and whole atmosphere is just amazing.

Try St. Lucia. I have been a few times and it is a very beautiful and relaxing island. They also have a lot of hotels that cater to honeymooners. Dominican Republic is beautiful but it has a lot of poverty, if you go visit Punta Cana instead of Puerto Plata. Punta Cana is more of the honeymoon area and has better beaches. St. Thomas is also very nice, it has good shopping and gorgeous beaches, and you can visit the other virgin isles from there. Jamaica is also an option. There is so much to do there. Having been to both Aruba and the caymans I wouldn't recommend them as honeymoon spots. They have good beaches but not much besides that. They both are very desert like islands, and the caymans is very expensive. A few islands I haven't been to but hear are very good are Martinique, St. Vincent, Tobago, and Turks and Caicos.
