Seriously, government workers are normally paid lower than the private sector, but if you want a job that could give you a lot of free time. Give it a try.

you are talking about in the states, or in jamaica? I know in the states, the pay is reasonable from what I hear. I know for sure the workers them does have good benefits.

P.S. I am not Jamaican, but I does understand the language quite well. From one West Indian to another.

I really don't know! Don't take mi word for it! Just apply to as many positions yu can if you need a job! The only way to know is to go there..and ask the boss the questions yu need! It is about what is necessary in yu life right now! If it's money..yu need a job!

If the question was directed to you, you would have understood the question. The question was instead directed to Jamaicans.

Jamaicans who in addition to speaking English also speak Patois.

I was unaware that illiterate people were knowledgeable enough to use a computer let alone be on the internet let alone be on yahoo answers posing questions.

Lets not put each other down. If you don't understand the question move on to another question. If you desire to know come back and read the answers. Ignorance is so embarassing.
