Is it better in Montego Bay or Ocho Rios?

I personally rather Ocho Rios than Montego Bay. I find Montego Bay to be boring. There are more activities in Ocho Rios

I think Montego Bay has more to offer visitors. Ocho Rios is a great spot also, but I put Mobay first. Have fun in the sun.

I live in Jamaica and I would definitely say Montego Bay. 1. Because there are many international people as well as us, locals so you'll never be lonely.2. The awesome hotels like Sandals White house and many others
Check out this site its awesome

I felt a little hemmed in in Montego Bay, as everyone was so anxious to keep us safe that you felt that everything you did was under public scrutiny (even if you popped onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air, a guard would appear from nowhere!) Ocho Rios struck me as a resort offering more freedom of movement and the Dunn River falls are utterly magnificent.

I've been eight times all over. Montego Bay is nice but Dunn's river falls is nice too.It would depend on what you like best. Also check out Falmouth in Trelawney. I've been to the FDR Pebbles resort I really liked that and the Blue Lagoon. I would say to do some research on the internet. By the way, don't go to the south side. The northerners are also used to tourist but down south they'll all want to touch your skin (the children). I've heard from northerners that Negril nice. Good luck and hope you like it.

Montego Bay and Ocho Rios both have different vibes. Mobay is more commercial and a bit crowded Ocho Rios is more laid back. The great thing about MoBay (as the locals call it) is that it is where the Airport is and just a couple hours drive to Negril and the South Coast. Go to
www.visitjamaica.com
to see more of what each area has to offer.

You will be able to find Dunn's River Fall, Eden Falls and Fern Gully among others in Ocho Rios. Mobay has the most hotels and the most transportation facilities. It depends on what you are looking for.

As someone else said I did not feel so safe there because from the time we came off the ship the taxi drivers was warning us. I was even skeptical about the taxi drivers and was scrutinizing them. While in the town I did not even want to expose my camera. Luckily, nothing happened. What added to that is all the negative publicity that is always on the radio.

It is a beautiful country with some beautiful homes.

i live in Jamaica and Ocho Rios is the best Place

Montego Bay may have more choices...but it is crowded
Ocho Rios is my favorite...and then you can visit surrounding towns...Even find out about transportation to see Montego Bay for the day.

Ocho Rios is much better. Safer streets, more to do, lusher enviorment ( not so much a concrete jungle ) , and lots of tourist things to do without the feeling of overcrowding.

skeptical
1. Yes, many people have been to Jamaica.

2. I don't know. I've never been there.
