Not me personally but my aunt-in-law is from there.

Sounds like a heavenly place to be, apparently!

Sandy Sandals
I have, it was my 1st trip to the Caribbean and I loved it! The people there are warm and friendly, the food is awesome, nightlife is great, not too expensive and there's a good bus system. If you're single and looking to mingle it's not the best place because it's a lot of couples, but we met some really fun people, drank, danced, and soaked in the sun.

Yeah.
I stayed at the Island Seas Resort in Freeport, Bahamas. I have never traveled much so I was nervous going to another country even if it was 50 miles from my home. However as soon as I arrived on the island my worries disappeared. The people there were so friendly and relaxed it instantly made me feel welcome. The hotel caters to tourists from all over the world and are set to help you have a wonderful experience. From shopping to partying to the beautiful untainted beaches this was one of the best places I have ever traveled. I just got home yesturday and I am already speaking to my travel agent about setting up my next trip there. The only thing I would have changed was instead of it being a one week trip I would have made it two or more. There were so many things to do and so many different people to meet. The Bahamians really have an attitude that just makes them so easy and carefree. I really came back with a different perception of my life.
