I am a Jamaican also. I have stayed at Sunset Beach in Montego Bay. It is all inclusive and I think the treatment you get there along with the amenities are top class. In 2005 I paid US$200 per night.
Hope you check this one out, it will be worth it.

My wife and I were just married and for our honeymoon we spent a week at Ocho Rios Grande Sandals resort and we absolutely loved it. Just make sure you go out and see the island. The dunns river falls and the blue mountain bike tour were our favorite. I have heard that their resort in Negril is very nice also.

Part a yuh life gone...
I am from Clarendon but I go to school in Kingston....
I like Ocho Rios and Negril... you should try going to those places. The beaches and scene are nice and I absolutely love the food...
It is good to get out of town for a while... There are so many places you can go and trust me it's all beautiful and nice... Something for everyone in the not-so-urban Jamaica.

It's raining in Mobay as we speak. A lot of visitors know much more about the country than we do. Still I am travelling much more than I used to. I went to Portland twice this year. It's really fabulous. As for the 'townites' (Kingston & Spanish Town) Negril is really nice to visit.

Thanks for the Yahoo Jacket
Kingstin is whee I stayed.

I spent 2 weeks at Boscobel resort. I loved it, but actually didn't see much of the real Jamaica except for climbing the Ocho Rios falls. Had a great time, one day I will go back and have a bombaclat spliff with jah people. Yes-I

Jamaica is an awesome island. There are a lot of parishes that u could go to. But if it for a vacation u should go to the north coast. St. Ann, St. James, or even Negril. I grew up in Jamaica so think about it. Personally mi favorite was St. Ann. There is a hotel were children under 12 stay free. Jamaica Grande is the name if I remember correctly.

I have been to Jamaica twice. The first time was a port on a cruise ship. We docked at Ocho Rios and we visited Dunns River Falls and Margaritaville. They were awesome. The second visit we visited Montego Bay. We stayed at the Sandals Royal Caribbean. We visited downtown Montego Bay one day and the Sandals Montego Bay for another day. Other than that we stayed at the resort. I love Jamaica. The sun, water and beaches are great. And everyone is soo fun!!

Ive been to Montego Bay at least three times, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort (all inclusive) this was ok, the Wyndham Rose Hall which is somewhat expensive very nice. The third time we booked a condo cant remember the name but it was really nice

boy_jam_arch
You need to take a trip on the north coast

You don't define 'not too expensive'.

So my obvious choice is Sandals.
