I just booked a non-refundable trip to Punta Cana and I can't go. All inclusive out of Baltimore for Aug 11-18th. It's $1800 booked through Apple includes tips, food, flight, drinks, 5 * hotel and transfers. Staying at the Bavarro Princess.

If you're interested send me a email.

Otherwise, go to tripadvisor.com and there are hundreds of reviews.

yes and you will love it as for the money take $ or euro don't change to there money you can't take it back out the country. as for how much to take i went with $3,500 and came back with $2,500 there's not much to buy . i don,t have kids but they do have kids clubs and competitions for them . the food is excellent and i am really fussy about food .
so if you go i think you will enjoy it.

Yes we own an apartment there and the place is wonderful, with 5 different restaurants. There is entertainment throughout the day for adults and kids, they have a kids club and they are well supervised and there is a nightly cabaret, the staff are all extremely friendly, Food is served from 7am till very very late and then later still for late night burgers/hot dogs. If you go all inclusive then you won't need an awful lot of spending money as all meals are included and local alcoholic drinks, soft drinks tea and coffee, they even have cake and coffee in the afternoon with loads of different teasand coffess to choose from, (watch that waistline) unless you want to do some of the activities that aren't included in the all inclusive package. So basically it's up to you to know your spending limit. Oh you have to pay to enter the country and again when you come out. They'll explain when you go to book and arrange your visas before going. The food and service is excellent and they are "crystalised" which means Health and Safety checks daily, so no upsets tums there!
Hope this helps and have a wonderful time!
