I just bought one from priceline.com for $500 and I even bought a round trip bus ride between the airport and Negril for $50. I have found better deals but I waited until the last minute to buy my ticket this time.
I have bought tickets for less than $300 from expedia.com. Of course the price depends a lot on where you are leaving from, so it pays to look at flights leaving from a couple of different airports that are within driving distance.

CATHOLIC PRIEST!!
Check out Delta airlines. They usually have great deals on air, hotels or a combination package to Jamaica. I went there in July and my airfare was $275 round-trip. I booked two months in advance though. You can also look up American airlines and Air Jamaica. They all run specials at different times.
Be wary of the many offers for cheap airfares. The best way to get a legitimate deal is to go directly to the airline's website.
