puerto rico is part of the us, the electric is the same and so is the currency

Of course. The Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico a US territories, so we do everything the American way.

As the first answer states same outlets as the states, same currency.

First language is Spanish, but a lot of the people know English, but try your hand at some Spanish.

Try the local foods - some great cafe / restaurants around the island and especially in Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde

Try to get to El Yunque, Luquillo beach, Old San Juan

If you want ideas on what to do when you are here, check out http://www.visit-the-coqui.com

Just the same....

Princessa
Yes almost everything is alike the states. Puerto Rico is an island in the Carrbbean colonized in 1898 by the United States of America since then we had been part of the United States as a colony. Our goverment is powerment by the united States goverment, we also use the dollar as our coin. In our educational system we learn english as a second language (but that dosent mean that everyone knows English), hope you enjoy your trip.
