Not that i am aware of, (but you never really know).
"Reggae" and "Gay" may rhyme, but they simply dont work well together in any other way. Like oil and water....
There are a few Reggae Artiste who are rumoured to be on the "DL", but don't expect to hear any confirmations in any time soon. |

If there were, which I definetly don't think there is, they would not come out. There are too many reggae songs about killing gay people, especially "batty-boys" that a reggae artist would not come out about it. |

Unfortunately Jamaica is on top of the human rights list for gay issues... you dont have to be gay... you have to "look" gay or have bad mind people rumoring about it... that can cost your life. Reggae artist are one of the reasons why this is not going to change anytime soon.... Loads of songs push people to violence towards "batty bwoys" I dont belive there can be a "gay free comunity" so surelly there are some gay reggae artist but even if they made a joke about it they would be killed so no way any of them will admit it... specially because this problem is much higher in the lower levels of society (ignorance is a very big problem in jamaica) and that's where the artist come from |

Its said in EVERY population that 10-15% are gay....that being said, and the "art" world having a larger influence than other occupations ( and lots more gays in the arts ) you can bet there are many gays in the music business to include reggae.
Jamaicans don't seem to care if the music is good....Elton John, Boy George, George Michael, Michael Jackson, and many more gay artists are listened to in JA, but no one seems to care they are gay. |

I did a search on this, and didn't come up with much for pro-gay Reggae entertainers. I found lots of anti-gay Reggae entertainers though. I think it's about time someone opposes gay-ism, instead of just standing by and accepting Liberalism to force their will upon the world. |
