Hi !,
They don't need to build such a park, because they have everything already ! Nature is so fantastic, so why build such a copy of nature? The only good park is Ocean World in Puerto Plata.

However, this is pricey, but in the Bahamas, there is a resort called the Atlantis which is a huge waterpark. You will spend big bucks to stay there. |

There are not any parks like Six Flags or Disney World, however, there are a couple water parks. Ocean World in Puerto Plata is my top pick, but there is also one in Punta Cana called Manatee Park that is really good. The only theme park I can think of is Iguana Park in Santo Domingo, but if you are expecting Disney World, you will be disappointed. |

well, you have ocean world in puerto plata and you have Iguana Park in the capital, no many people know about the second one becouse is a bit new, it's not big, but it have verry good things |

You're kidding, right? If you want a 6 flags or Disneyworld vacation... then stay in the U.S. and if you want to experience the D.R. then go there, but I serioulsy doubt they will ever build a 6 flags or a Disneyworld in the D.R.
Donald Trump may be building a multi-million dollar marina and condo complex, but I doubt a 6 flags park with be part of it. |

Dominican Republic is nearly a third world country. There are no large theme parks like that. The majority of people are rather poor. Most people don't even own cars. There is a smallish carnival type park in Santo Domingo though. |
