We have a dozen duppy stories but no vampire legends. Jamaican people have a lot of myths and folklore concerning death and destruction and darkness but nothing that can be termed a vampire story. Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall, could be considered a kind of vampire, maybe. There below is a link on some of our folklore. You will learn about duppy and rolling calf and river mumma. Closest things to vampires.

No not at all. The only vampires in "Jamaican legend" are the bloodsucking politicans who smuggled hard drugs, stole land, misapproriated public funds....all at the taxpayers expense...and then got away with it all scotch free! You would get sued into oblivion if you even called a name in public!

So. Its only myths & legends. Everybody 'knows' but nobody talks.

Blood, sweat and tears lost in the name of politics.

Sounds like vampires to me!

Not at all, we do have a few ghosts ( duppies) but no vampires.
We consume a lot of Aloe Vera ( sinkle bible ) which has a very bitter taste, vampires aren't fund of bitterness, so they stick to your sweeter blood. Bet you didn't know that, plus our food are too peppery, they also don't like pepper.
Then last but not the least our White Overproof Rum, which is an A class remedy, good for any thing that hails, follow, bites, sting, punch or box, stalks or just don't like you.
One drink per day, keep even de devil away.
