I am assuming that you wish to know a bit more about Trinidad and Tobago, since I doubt you wish only to find out if the respondant comes from there. If this is so here is a short spiel on "T&T". I am from Trinidad and Tobago, but live in the United Kingdom where I was actually born. Trinidad and Tobago is a twin island republic in the southern Caribbean (5128 sq km) and is the wealthiest of the English speaking Caribbean countries as it has a strong economy based on oil and gas exports. Tobago earns income from tourism as it is more associated with "sun sea and sand" than Trinidad, but it must be pointed out that Trinidad itself is possesed of great physical beauty with its rainforests and green rolling hills. The country is very ethnically diverse but people of African and Indian decent make up the bulk of the population. Independent of Britain from 1962, the country became a republic in 1976.

I'm not 'from' T&T, but I've been living in Tobago for six years - and consider T&T my home! It's definitely where I want to be - home is where the heart is!
