Aruba in Sept.? |
I was looking to go to Aruba from Sept 12th-18th. I have heard this isnt the best time to go because of heat and lack of breezes. Is this true? The trip comes at a great price and I have never been to Aruba. |

Here is a great weather site. This site gives you previous years weather history. http://www.wunderground.com
Go to trip planner, put in your destination and time period and you will get 10 years of previous years weather.
Aruba will be hot mid Sept. 90+ degrees during the day. The good thing about Aruba, you have constant trade winds. It's out of hurricane belt so that is a plus. The question is can you handle the hot temperatures?
I was in Arizona one October and it was 107, We just stayed in the pool all day and we were fine.
Good Luck and enjoy Aruba. it's a great island.

My family has a time share in Aruba and I have been there many times. The time share is in January but I just went in September for 2 weeks for my honeymoon and I didn't notice the difference in the weather at all. I definielty recommed going to Aruba...it is very hot but there is always a constant breeze. The other great thing about the weather is that it does not rain very often and when it does it is in short incriments and never ruins a whole day. I hope you decide to go and I hope you have a great time...we always do. If you want any resturant suggestions my 2 favorites are Sole Mar and Madame Jeanettes...Enjoy! |

I like Aruba in Sept & Oct. Their seasons are like ours here in California...fall we have "Indian Summer" and in the winter we have rain...I've never figured out why winter is high tourist season on the island when it's their rainy season and that's why you've got a good deal...it's not high season.
The general cliamate of the island is 82-90 degrees every day rain or shine. If it rains, it rains 10 min on, 10 min off. Balmy breezes keep you cool if you're not baking yourself in the sun. Enjoy! |

Aruba is awesome man year round. The dates you choes are quite good. There is just enough sunlight and some rains not to many. Its great. I windsurf and september is not the worst month at all where the breezes are concerned. Well hope you make a decision. |

TC, the weather in Aruba is pretty constant. The average high is 89F in September, vs. 85 in January and February (the lowest high). Winds should also be constant.
One good thing about Aruba is that it is outside of the "hurricane belt", so there's very little chance of a hurricane ruining your vacation.
Let me know if I can help you plan your trip... |
