Bahama's Drinking Water Safe?

Is it safe to drink the water in the Bahama's. I'll be staying at the Westin in Lucaya. Actually I'm more worried about the ice from the drinks in the local bars/markets.

The water should be safe to drink.
The better question is.... Does the water taste good enough to drink? to which I would answer better get bottled water for drinking.
I have never had a problem with the water in Freeport or Nassau making me sick.

My advice drink botle water is a bit safer difinatelly avoid the ice just to be on the safe side I went to the Bahamas a feew yrs ago and got sick from the water

the drinking water should be fine. if you're staying at a hotel, they would provide you with water whether it's from the tap or bottled. but the tap water should be ok. they have a treatment system. they're not like a third world country or anything.

even though the tap water can be drank it all depends if your stomach can take it really, i used it for hot drinks and ice just have a couple of ice cubes if your not sure. it wont harm you but like i said your tummy mightnt like it, also i wouldnt recommend it giving it to young children it went staright threw mine and i switched back and he was ok .
