Best All Inclusive resort in Jamaica? |
Okay so I've done some research and have read some reviews on tripadvisor.com and I've come down to some choices to choose from:
1. Breezes Runaway
2. Gran Bahia Principe
3. Riu Ocho Rios
4. Hedonism
I will be going with my boyfriend and we are in our early 20s, it's our first time going on vacation on an all-inclusive resort, and we are looking for a place that is calm (and not alot of people our age), we're really clean so rooms that are neat & beds that are comfortable of course, and basically just a relaxing resort for couples... oh and food has to be good too since we're pretty picky eaters!!!!!!!! I think the four resorts I've listed are a few of the priciest resorts so I hope they are actually as good as they are advertised??? Thanks! Additional Details Or would Los Cabos be a better vacation spot??? I'm picking between the two locations! |

Couples Swept Away!!! The beach is incredibly beautiful, clean and as quiet as you would want. The 7 mile beach provides tons of entertainment. You can walk forever checking out the local vendors and smaller resorts. The resturants in the resort are wonderful. There are many different types of food to choose from, and you can go dressy or casual depending on your mood. This will be our second trip. We were married on the beach last year at Couples.
The beds, ugh, you'll never want to get up. Check out the website and read over the message board. Sandals does not compare by a long shot. Also dont believe too much on the trip advisor, alot of negative posts about certain resorts are bogus and posted to steer business away from Jamaicas premier resorts. Couples all the way! |

I am also researching Negril for vaca. Couples Swept Away(i listed the web site below) and Grand Lido look like the most luxurious: read-expensive. CSA had the most interesting dining choices. I think like 7 restaurants! The price I got was $2500usd per person for 7 days thru expedia. But shop, shop , shop around!!!!
www.negrilinfo.com has alot of info on that area.
There's also a great forum on trip advisor.

I don't know about numbers two and three, but Breezes, I think , is a family resort, so if you both o.k. with that, go for it.
Based on what you both are looking for, hedonism may not be the best choice. That resort is geared to mainly young people (or the young at heart) that wants alot of exitement and craziness in their vacation. (They have toga parties and suff like that.)
Have you considered Sandals? It's a couples only resort. It might be perfect for you guys. |
