No you should not have a problem. You will need to fly via Mexico - either Cancun or Mexico City, or Canada. which would be a long way round. Cancun means you can fly on the same day. Mexico City would mean an overnight stay probably unless it has recently changed.

I assume you are going on holiday? You can either get a visa or if you are there less than 30 days a Tourist Visa Card.

The only thing you do need to be a bit careful of is what you carry back through the States. We have heard of Cuban cigars and rum being confiscated . You are restricted in how many you can take.

Well, as long as you don't make any political statement against the comunist government, no

But that can change in the blink of an eye. Last time I went to Cuba, they were very alarmed because I was carrying very little luggage

However, no worries. Villa Marista will give you a splendid lodging. No hot water, you know

By the way, it is "la Habana vieja", and is crumbling down

It is an insult that you write the name of the USA and British with capital letters, whereas you write the name of my country , Cuba, with minuscules

The only trouble, as some people say here would be if you criticize the government or El Comandante fidel

A friend of mine had the bad idea of doing so in a bar, while under the influence of alcohol , and so far, I don't know where he is

Just to add to the last comment. You cannot bring ANYthing back from cuba in to the states.. even via cancun or bahamas. cuba cigars, rums, souveniers etc are contraband in the US.

No, you have not broken any law. They won't care. this is probably not all that uncommon.

Tropicales
There is no problem for you. The US have no jurisdiction over your travels and whereabouts.
Have a great time in Cuba and don't worry about any need to fill out paperwork.

The only people forbidden travel to Cuba are U.S. citizens.

You will not get into trouble.

Fernando
No, while you're there go visit "La Vieja Havana"

consult an immigration attorney in the usa
