Can I buy Convertable Pesos in Canada before my trip to Cuba?

I was wondering if I could buy the convertible pesos before my trip to Cuba and if so, where could I purchase some in Toronto?

The easiest way is to change some money at the airport, then you can change more at the resort.

If you are staying outside the tourist area the simplest way to exchange money is at a bank.

Cheekz
no. you have to get them there. They will have them in the airport, or even at the hotel ur staying at

No you can only by CUC in Cuba... Make sure you take nice new Canadian money... if it is bent too much or torn they will not accept it.

oopse
big hotel in Cuba have the exchange offices!
or aerport in cuba.

Redhead
No - they are only available in Cuba
The currency is absolutely worthless anywhere else

as others have posted you can only buy convertible pesos in Cuba. I don't find much difference in buying them at the airport, the resort or a bank. I also don't worry about bringing a few home for the next trip. Remember to buy lots of single peso coins you will need them for tips.

The exchange rate down there sucks too, but the best place to get it exchanged is the airport.
Good Luck!!!
