I agree with SUNRISE, latin jazz is beautiful, also a nice steelpan solo, that is if you want to relax. if you want to turn up the heat, definitly soca and/or zouk ( I'm not sure that is the correct spelling) enjoy you trip and make sure to stop off at Trinidad and Tobago!

Calypso, Cutney, Soca Music. Do a search and various artists will come up. And don't forget Bob Marley (reggae).

Enjoy and have a great time.)

IF you don't listen to Bob Marley while you are in the Caribbean then I don't know how you can be in the Caribbean.

The two main music of the English speaking Caribbean is Calypso/Soca and Reggae/Dancehall. Both are great and you should get yourself a cd of both styles of music and enjoy. l would recommend a Machel Montano (soca cd) and a Glen Washington (reggae cd). Enjoy.
