Im an American citizen with an American passport, however i have lived in the united Kingdom for over 20 years. Im not allowed a British passport because my dad is Irish and my dads dad was Irish. Sure you can go. It doesn't matter if you have a US passport. As long as you're not residing in the US, then you can travel freely to Cuba without having to go via a 3rd country.

Cuba does not stamp passports either. But your residential status has no negative effect on your travels to Cuba. And you can easily bring back whatever souvenirs you want from Cuba without any problems because you're going back to the UK.

Have a great time in Cuba!

Well, you need not ask permission from fidel. He will be very glad to have you there, spending your money so he can keep his dictatorship alive and well

Beardo
Technically, you would be breaking US law. But as the others point out, there is no way that could be a problem, unless you try taking yoiur Cuban cigars with you next time you go to the US.

Many thousands of Americans travel to Cuba leaving from the US (via a third country) without problems. You are already living in a third country.

SO... why don't you GO? If you are leaving from the U.K and returning to the U.K. then you aren't going through the U.S. and IT WON'T MATTER.

This question get's asked several HUNDRED TIMES A MONTH on here... look in the archives to learn how AmeriKans can go to Cuba and not get whacked by the U.S.. Government

Sure passports are not stamped when you go to Cuba absolutely no problem. Go and enjoy.
