yes u can have 'white" caribbean people. in the virgin islands, we have people of "french" descent. these people have a Caucasian complexion; or for lack of a better word 'white" color. they have a very "high" color, we call them "frenchies'". so I'm pretty sure in other caribbean nations you have persons of Caucasian descent that where born and raised in the Caribbean.

Yes... Don't forget all of the Caribbean (besides Haiti and the Spanish speaking countries) were colonies of Europe a mere 50 years ago. Any of the decendants of Europe that still live in the Caribbean would have Caucasian children. And in-case you were wondering yes, their kids in having grown up in the Caribbean would have Caribbean accents too.

Yes, there are plenty of white Caribbeans. They tend to speak with distinctive accents. They often go back a long way in the history of the islands. Not all that many of them can claim to be 100% white and sometimes you will find unexpected traces of other races in their children.

Yes, you can have people of light colored skin or dark colored skin in any country. For example, if their great great grandparents moved there 100 years ago, then they'll have whatever colored skin their family has.
I know a few people from Mexico with very white skin and red hair :-)
It's not common, but it exists.

This is a funny question.... I don't know if you can call yourself "white Caribbean".. but certainly there are many white people in the Caribbean, born and raised. As well as many people of mixed race... not everyone in the Caribbean is black.

I would say putting the word "white" in there is kind of meaning to say like they're better is almost insulting to those who are not. If you're an islander, you're an islander no matter your color.

intrigue
Yes you get white people in the Caribbean.
