It depends on what you are looking for. Do you have a family with children? Then Disney might be a good idea because it would be more entertaining for them. Do you go on a cruise just to party? I've heard that carnival is a big party line. So that might be good for you. Is money no barrier? Then go on Celebrity. If you are looking for an all around good cruise that's reasonably priced - I agree with those above. Go for Royal Caribbean.

I definitely agree with Royal Caribbean. The ships have more quality and although there are families and partiers (which some may deem to intrusive), the organization is really good.

If you want a Southern Caribbean trip, start from San Juan. If you go from a Florida-based port, you'd have a longer travel time (over 1 week) but a San Juan departure can give you alot in a one-week itinerary. My fiancee and I did one on their ship Serenade of The Seas for a 7-night Southern Carib cruise which worked out perfectly.

I love Royal Carribean the most. I've gone on 3 cruises (I'm 22) and two were on Royal Carribean. Carnival Cruise lines in my opinion had too many children on board. This is not to say that the Royal Carribean did not have any children passengers, they did but they had a very well incorporated children's program that kept the kids in an alternate part of the ship (theme park) for the majority of the day. They have the most included off-shore excsursions. They have a fleet that are referred to as "fun ships" I believe. They have an exorbitant amount of activities included on board such as rock climbing, basketball, putt-putt golf, ice skating, etc. Their spa is absolutely magnificent, and their onboard Italian Restaurant is like taking a mini-trip to italy. I strongly recommend Royal Carribean whether you're doing the Eastern or Western carribean. But get an outside room and do not get a room beneath the seventh floor. Happy Cruisin'

I have been on 3 cruises. We have always used Royal Caribbean without any problems. They are always very friendly. The ships have MANY things to do. From rock-climbing and putt-putt to the pools and spa. There is always something for all to do.

I love Royal Caribbean!! I am 22 and have been on 2 RCCL cruises. I am planning my Honeymoon and am going on another cruise. We are returning to the Western Caribbean (Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel). Can't wait!!

I have been on about 6 cruises. Royal, Celebrity,
and Carnival. I would rank Celebrity a notch above RCCL--better food and a classier overall trip

I must agree with the majority here Royal Carribean was fantastic!! My frist cruise was Sept 04, went back with my children in Nov. 04 and then again in Jan.05. Each time it was with Royal and I LOVE their private island they port at - Coco Cay. The water is absolutly beautiful, and the fact that they will serve you lunch there and it is included with the trip and they have music for entertainment and they keep both the young an older generation occupied. I feel that for a short trip this is the best because the other lines only have one port of call and they have two giving you more options and more to do. There is parasailing, kyacking, snorkeling right there on the private islnad as well as plenty of drinks!! I think for a vacation with or without the children this is a great or for a short break from the busy working world. The staff will take VERY good care of you!!!! The food is good and you have plenty of options.
