when was d last time yuh make, and if it was recent, send some for meh nah, ah feeling to eat the chip up sugarcake!

chip up sugar cake is when yuh use d knife and cut d coconut into small pieces and make sugar cake, as opposed to grating the coconut!
Personally i prefer d chip up sugarcake! so if anybody (at all) make some, i will collect it by d airport, ah dey 5 days ah week! |

I prefer the grated sugar cake, especially when you peel the brown outer-layer skin from the coconut, and you use white sugar so it's all nice and white.
The rest of my family love the chip up kind. I actually made some today.
I had a Trinidad snack and deserts theme cooking class , so I made a few different items. I also made Kurma , Chillibeebee (not sure about the correct spelling)
tamarind ball, paw-paw balls ( papaya), coconut drop and currant rolls, the class was a really good one, my clients love them all. Tomorrow's class is a typical Trinidad Sunday Lunch |
