18 is still the drinking/clubbing age in puerto rico. (although brava in hotel san juan is 18 for girls/21 for guys). some bars have signs saying that you have to be 23 or even 25 to drink but ignore these. they are put there to dissuade crazy teens from coming in to get completely drunk.
