Yes I did go on this cruise, its wonderful, we sail on the Carnival Victory ship, we had loads of fun, great boat activities and you'll never get bored, we were always smiling, be prepared to laugh, dance, sing and eat-eat -eat, bad thing about it?
uhmmmmm, let me see... I know when your getting the hang of things its time to go home.

Cruising is a blast. Anything (or nothing) you want is on the ship. The only draw back it the island trip don't allow enough time to really see the islands.
Based on you question I assume your doing one of the big cruise lines. For you next consider a windjammer cruise on one of the tall ships. They provide you an opportunity to relax plus being smaller, you'll actually meet most of your cruise mates (90-120 passagers on these).

I have cruised inthe Carribean aboard Tall ships - Windjammers - and have thought the experience was wonderful. Many people aboard preferred the cruise to the 'fufu' floating hotels because it is much more relaxed, plus you get to participate - if you wish. The only dress requirement is a clean t-shirt when you dine - no stuffy tuxedo required! If you are really looking to have a great 'vacation' look to Windjammer.com for the answer. Just my opinion.

Cruising is a wonderful activity, as you take one, you want more. You have the convinience of security, all meals, drinks, and fun in one place and also you can go to different islands or countries and take tours and taste the typical food, and finally return to your ship with all the things you need ready for you. In order to known the islands you can do one of two things. First, you can book an excursion even before the cruise (go to the web page of your cruise and book one). Second, in every island that you get, there always will be taxis and buses waiting for you and groups of people to get you to the most visited places. Also you can go to the web page of the cruise line and take a virtual tour throgjt the ship. Enjoy

No I never have but I do know friends of mine that have. They tell me it is a wonderful experience.

A cruise is what you make of it. You can lounge around all week or stay as active as you want. As others mentioned there is food available 24/7. There are also ways to spend money 24/7! I love cruising - I also like driving holidays in the USA so it's always a toss up as to which one to book! I've cruised the caribbean twice and am about to go again, over Christmas. Cruising can be anything you want it to be - lazy or active. Normally plenty to do on board, you can eat 24/7, the shops and casino are open whilst you are out of port (at sea). Some cruises have cinema screens in the theatre after the evening show. I've sailed twice with Carnival which was very noisy and fun but also cruised with Princess which was a little more sedate but still so much to do. I like seeing different places and it's great that you can do that everyday without unpacking all the time! I also love the days at sea where you can be as lazy as you want. Hope you enjoy it.
