My Vote: Cuba!! Hands down - been to both places, but just LOVED Cuba! There is so much more to see and do, and if you like culture, this is where you will definately find it. My resort of choice: Sol Melia in Santa Clara, Cuba! |

I've been to both on typical 'package' holidays, and would recommend Cuba first, I found lots more to see and do there. Not to say that a holiday in the Dominican Republic isn't fantastic! |

Go to Cuba, its awesome there. It has beautiful beaches and great hotels and theres a lot you can do. Also some beaches in Dominican arent as clean as in Cuba. But since this is only my opinion i think you should do some research on Dominican and Cuba and look at some hotels and what you can do there and decide whatever you like better. |

I think you would have a fantastic time in Varadero, Cuba. There are lots of clubs, lots to do, the beaches are fantastic and the day trip to Havana is great. |

I travelled alone to Cuba and Dominican. I felt alot safer in Cuba, the beaches are more beautiful, but it is a very sad country. Dominican you don't wander away from your hotel, the people there are very nice. I would just sat with either country, be careful who you meet and who you sleep with, there is alot of AIDS and STD's |

You can start by saying a full word. Are you talking about the Domenican REPUBLIC or about DOMENICA?... a lot of Americans end up buying a ticket to DOMENICA because they can only speak in half words.
The DR is a great place to visit... sort of like Mexico but with great beaches and a real tropical environment. Domenica is small, friendly and more expensive than the DR. Cuba... I don't know because Americans CAN NOT VISIT Cuba... at least not legally. |
