it really look so, is everybody have dey own car. and daddy and mommy giving all the kids one as a present for writing CXC (except mine..go figures!!). next thing you know is car write off around ah support beam somewhere on d highway, and child fighting for he life or dead on impact.

but i know exactly what you mean, d family car was in an era when the 5 members of d family was in d same car and they were actually a family, had a conversation, bonded!! and it didnt have sooo much traffic on d road. now is every body have car, cant remember when was the last time they saw their sibling except while driving in or out d yard, cant tell what going on in the house because they never home - you know, what young people now adays does call "having a life!"

I miss de car for you too, I only have memories of taking a bus to go on outings if we going far like Las Cuevas!!

boy i remember those days....me an my sisters fightin cause we doh want to sit down in d middle...i remember pokin my head outta d window to get breeze den gettin bawl up for pushin my head outta d car "yuh want yuh head get cut out, look send up dat back glass for meh"... an i remember gettin into fights with my lil sis for sprawlin out on d seat an squeezin me... den daddy go yell "wham to alyuh is d same blasted thing everytime we leave d house...alyuh want me turn dis car around an go home"...lol

Don't fret cause there are still families that only have one car. Besides my immediate family I don' t have too many individual family members that have their own vehicle. Even in this day and age the majority of my female cousins still don't drive:0(

Is true...is everybody driveway looking like dealership these days...but I feel plenty people does still do the 'family car' if everybody going the same place...but ah know what you mean. some of my best memories of my childhood were in the family car!
