No. The only disease there is comunism. The vaccine against it is common sense

But if you are smart in putting them on, you won't go there.

no vaccines, however make sure to take antacids and a few pills or medicines for your tummy, because sometimes the food may not agree with your stomach and that can be a pain because medicines are hard to find down there specially when you really need to use the potty.

have fun!

I went to Cuba last April and I got what is called the TwinRix Vaccination. It is a vaccination for both Hepatitits A&B. Its not very expensive and not necessarily mandatory, but it defenitley gives you a piece of mind. Hepatitis A you can get my eating contaminated food, water, uncooked shellfhish or just by swimming in water. Hepatitis B isnt as common to get becuase it is transferred through blood and other body fluids, but the possibility is still there becuase you can get it from simple things like getting treated for a scraped knee, getting a manicure.

Though its not mandatory I would defenitley recommend it, its cheap and easy to get so why take the chance??

Canadians travelling to Cuba are under no health restrictions, and require no vaccinations.

You don't need any vaccinations to travel to Cuba, unless you are coming from a region with cholera or yellow fever, in which case it would be the Cuban authorities that will require proof of immunization.

Cuba takes extremely proactive steps toward preventive public health, and common tropical diseases like cholera, malaria, and dengue fever are either uncommon or have been totally eradicated.

I've never gotten sick when in Cuba. But always be smart about food and drink intake along with cleanliness as you would when at home...making sure the food is heated properly, etc.

Have a great time in Cuba.

None. :) I've been there a lot and I haven't gotten sick.

Marino
Why?... I've been to Cuba 3 times in the past 10 years and never felt the need for any more vaccinations that I already have.
