BLACK BROTHER

Did you know Puerto Ricans ARE BLACK?

OK! Puerto Ricans are NOT Mestizo or Indian! Because all of the Indians of Puerto Rico were killed off by 1600!

[Also Note: Most Puerto Ricans like to claim "white" even though you can still obviously see the African Features in all of them!!! So don't give me any statistics from CIA Factbooks because they're all lies!]

Instead, the population was replaced by Africans who at one point, even out numbered the Spaniards!

Population of Puerto Rico in 1840:
Spanish: 518
Mixed (black): 329
Free Colored Men (black) 258
Slaves (black) 32

With That being said, Lots of Puerto Rican women are marrying African-American men, and Nearby Countries like Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti (All black) are moving to Puerto Rico. So Puerto Ricans are becoming more and more African.

Also! Puerto Rico's Culture, Music, Dances, Cuisine, Language, Festivities are all African!!!

So its safe to assume that Puerto Ricans are black and Puerto Rico is a black country right?
Additional Details
Note: The numbers in the census are in thousands.

And what if we are black??????? If you do not like black people and you do not live in Puerto Rico, then do not come over here.

In Puerto Rico, there are black, white, indian and every type of people.

Wow you really need to Educate yourself. What you are saying is false & you are making assumptions. Some puerto ricans are black & the culture definitely has african influences, but no way all puerto ricans are black. I am puerto rican & I look white & have blue eyes. My husband looks indian or mixed. WHo cares? We are all puerto rican people. We dont care about skin color. Are you a puerto rican that is trying to fit in with african americans? Grow up, stop being racist. We are mixed & that is why we are beautiful. You need to go to Puerto Rico & see for your self that we are all colors. & learn the true history.

BTW: the american govt claims that all the indians died out by the 1600's but puerto ricans knew this wasnt true, b/c we see our indian features. So the University of PR did a stusy & found over 60% of people are taino indian, which obviously proves that theory wrong. You cant argue with DNA. Do better research next time befor u open your ignorant mouth.

Not all are "black" in skin tone. Puerto Ricans are Latinos. As for "claiming" to be white, that's really the only option Latinos have when filling out government forms.
There are 4 different cultures in PR so they are NOT all African. The languages of PR are Spanish and English NOT African dialects.
Puerto Rico is a commonweatlh of the U.S and it's citizens are American so NO it's not a black country.

I think you need to take yourself a trip to Puerto Rico.
