YOU DO NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO ARUBA, the ONLY COUNTRIES WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE A PASSPORT FOR ENTRY IS CANADA, MEXICO, AND THE BAHAMAS, AND PUERTO RICO, HOWEVER AS OF JAN 1 2007, ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS WHO ARE TRAVELING OUTSIDE OF THE U.S WILL NEED A PASSPORT REGARDLESS OF THE COUNTRY. Depends on where you are Traveling from,...I know Aruba is one of the Smaller Islands in the Caribbean and is Visited by millions Of tourists Each year,..I dont think you do if you are Traveling from the North America,however it is Adviised that you do Travel with you Passport.

you may not need apassport to GO to Aruba; after Jan 8 2007 you will need one to get back into the US and the airlines wont let you leave from the States without one.
So the short answer is yes. Go to the State Departments' web site and start the process.....
