Having spent the better part of her adult life in the public service and in government, Mrs Simpson-Miller should be able to hold her own in opposition. I get the feeling that she is of a combative temperament and takes offence easily, but if she is able to isolate her personal self from her public, professional self, she should be able to handle the job effectively. However, it would definitely take some amount of adjusting on her part, because I believe she is really tasting a victory, even now! |

I don't live in Jamaica but according to the Jamaicans I talked to when I was there, she's a terrible PM, so I guess her being the leader of the opposition would be a good thing. |
