Yes. A lot of my friends from St. Thomas and St. Croix go to the U there and they only know English.

Most (if not all) universities of PR have american, european and/or asiatic proffessors who teach their classes in english. I personally took Engineering classes with proffessors from USA, Poland, India and other countries using english as the language of communication. Also, most our textbooks were in english even at those classes were the proffessor talked in spanish.

Some universities also have BA and Masters programs majoring in English Literature.

I dont think there is an university here that teach ALL their courses in english.

Lots of american professors that teach their classes in english. Books are in english, unless its a Spanish class

some univerties have bilingual programs
some have american names, but dont actually teach english.

the only universities that have full english classes are:
Universidad Inter Americana de Puerto Rico
University of Phoenix

check out the web:

Hello :

There is a private college called Inter Americana. It is the largest private college in Puerto Rico with anexes in many locations. There is only one location that teaches Nursing,Business Administration//Economics and Psychology through the English Trimester program. It is known as Inter Americana recinto Metropolitana. There website is www.metro.inter.edu Inter Americana also offers a doctorate in Optometry that is a bilingual program in the area of San German. Although, the many colleges and Universities in Puerto Rico are taught in Spanish, the books are primarily in English and you can request the exams be given to you in English, but usually only if requested. Good luck to you and your future.
