"Peter"is correct...P.R.is PART of the U.S. and you do NOT need a passport. P.R. is a territory of the U.S., so it is a domestic flight. see site below and read the last line under the section titled LAND and SEA travel.

I am Puerto Rican... No you don't need a passport to travel to PR, it is part of US Territory.

If You're a US Citizen all You need is a State Valid ID.

Legalresidents need their resident card and another Isd.

Visitor form any other countries need their passport with a Valid US Tourist visa.

I go to Puerto Rico roughly 4 times a year annd let me tell you that no you do not need a passport to enter the country since it is part of the U.S. as well as exiting when traveling by plane from The 50 states or the virgin islands however if you take a cruise that stops at an international port they will ask you for a passport or a Citizenship or resident card when you enter uerto Rico since right there you are rentering the U.S. Whenever I go to Puerto Rico I do take my passport every time since I fly as a Non rev and may have to connect through another country to fly back to Miami. So point being you do not have to take a passport but I highly recomend it.

NO... not for Puerto Rich or the U.S. Virgin Islands

No!!!! Guess you haven't seen all those Puerto Rico tourism commercials. They repeat it over and over again: no passport necessary.

If flying from the US mainland, no. ...cuz you really haven't left the US. PR is a US territory....the flight is considered a domestic flight.

If your coming from the USA then you dont need a Passport just a valid photo id will be enough : Military ID or a driver's license, etc ... This is because we are considered part of the USA and we are USA citizens as well.

If ur coming from any other part of the world then YES! your going to need a Passport to come visit Puerto Rico.

Hope this helps !!! Good Luck ... and Have Fun when u come visit us !!! =o)

no u dont need a passport to go to puerto rico cuz even if we dont want to belive it pr is part of the us

Joyce S
Not if you are a US citizen leaving from US soil and returning directly to US soil.

Happy Feet
Normally you need a pasport, but for PR I don't know it for shure, just ask your travel agent, he will know it.

Iam pretty sure that you do because you are leaving the U.S. and when ever you go out of the U.S. you must HAVE A PASSAPORT
