i say yes.
better 2 b on the safe side.
malaria out-breaks can happen anywhere.
global warming has only added 2 the problem.

have a fab & groovy holiday.
:)

Best Dominican
well all resort there comply with one of the best system around the world regulated and certified internationally.
if you going to eat in the street and are not used to i recommend otherwise not.
you will be surprise after you get there this small country is better prepare than many big country that why after you go there one is your vacation destiny for ever.

They'll upset your stomach and 60% of the time don't work. Malarone is the most effective if you must. I've been to loads of malaria countries, and focus on preventing bites rather than treating them. In saying that, malaria is really nasty and celebrial malaria will kill, so best check with the Doc or the various online advice sites.

I just went to the DR in December and my local Health Department recommend those and Hepatitis A & B shots. I did get the Malaria pills just to be safe. I was bit by mosquitos twice while I was there.

no u dont the only time u need them if u are close to haiti and i dont think u will be even near haiti. i been there twice and i never used malaria tablets.

Hi, I've been there for 4 months last year and I didn't use the malaria tablest, they weren't raccommended by my doctor, but he told me to do the Hepatitis A shots and anti-tethanic shot.

No ,we went and none were required. Rui Merengue hotel is very much recommended.

I would take them to be sure, they only have to be taken once a week, 1 week before you go, whilst you're there then for four weeks after your return, a packet costs about £2.15 over the chemist counter so its not worth the risk, other than that spray your curtains with mozi spray and wear vicks vapour rub on your wrists and ankles after dark or when raining, cheapest form of deterant

better to be safe than sorry!
