Well I have never been to Jamaica but I really want to go there for a Vacation soon! My parents are from the Dominican Republic and I've been to the Dominican Republic and absolutely LOVE it.. I'm sure that Jamaica has a lot of similar things that the Dominican Republic has since it's an island and they are very close to each other!!!

But yesss.. Jamaica seems like it has BEAUTIFUL places (from what I've seen in pictures.)

We were in Montego Bay last year and we LOVED it!!!!!!!
Although I wish the government would give more money that they make from tourists back to the locals to improve the economy!

Opinions are like asses, everyone has one. Before i went i heard mixed things about Jamaica. It seemed that the people who told me horror stories were ones who had never been or had only stopped on a cruise ship. When i finnaly got a chance to go I only found delicious food, good "vibes", friendly people, and wondrous natural beauty. If you go be prepared: 1. Jamaica is a third world country, expect accordingly, the people work very very hard for very very little. 2. Never give out your personal info to locals, Jamaicans are masters at finding out personal information about tourists and can get sensitive info from innocent questions, always say you have been their before. 3. You are a tourist and therefore you are easy money, always barter for prices and never accept outragous fees for anything. 4. Not for the Square Bear, even if you dont do drugs and are not offended by them, you will be bombarded with ganja, mushroom, coke, and extasy sales propositions fromt he moment you get there. There are probably other important tips i can give you but i am tired of writing. I love Jamaica, No Problem Mon!

Yah man! Ditto with Calm. Been there many times and will go again.

My daughter loved it there so much that she moved her wedding ceremony there being wed in Sandals resort in Ocho Rio.

And when it comes to your Blue Mountain coffee, man no better tasting coffee anywhere in the world.
