cause all this talk about alternative fuel an bio Diesel, electric car , wind , solar an all the other power they want to have to get rid of oil dependence an implement all these new resources but do u think at the end of the day they will still need oil even though they don't say it |

I think the only reason the planet isn't more "green" is because the oil companies make millions and polititions make a cut as well that's the only reason because look at this in the USA u can use Solar panels mounted on your roof to conserve energy but the costs and taxes applied are high so no one will do in and look at in Trinidad the price of a more Fuel efficient cars is through the roof so how can you go Green when it is expensive it's the same with eating healthy
Buying something unhealthy is always cheaper so what's the point really i cannot see this world going Green unless persons who are in charge stop the greed |

When the price of going green becomes a little cheaper then everyone will do it. I mean I recycle and use energy efficient bulbs, appliances and all of that but then you have these hybrid vehicles, people want to add solar panels to their house to create their own energy, saving egg shells and banana peels to make compost and the list goes on and on and on. I am getting there slowly but surely. For me it's not about affordability it's about not wanting to give up my old ways. :-(☻ |

It's a nice idea, but short of a major disaster or catastrophe that affects the entire world.... Sadly, no! |

its a shame that some people just think we need to drill more (for oil) as the solution to the economic problems being green is a necessary step in evolution
similar to advancements in technology
we need to get with the times

As long as they have a choice I don't think so |

Green with moss! The most well to do nations can certainly follow this planet saving step, but to the poorest nations - going green means little to them since it is a battle to survive. |

In my perspective, humans are naturally wasteful and the world will die but not in our lifetimes. We can try to make it better for future generations but no matter how hard we try, we will always run out of resources. But there will be the Apocalypse before we do run out of resources. Don't worry. |

The earth is running out of resources. Nothing can help or stop that. I mean, you can't find alternative resources forever, they are not good enough and will run out too. |
