Do you have to give tips in PR?

I know some countries you don't have to give tips at restaurants, taxi, ect. what about Puerto Rico?

Is not a law to give tips; many restaurants advice to give the 15%, but you give what ever you want and if you want.

I would treat restaurants and taxi drivers just like you do anywhere else. I always tip at a restaurant, and when take a taxi.

If you get good service, show your appreciation with a tip.

Enjoy your trip!

In fancy restaurants you do give a tip to the waiter/waitress.

At taxis, well, locals don't use the taxi much, so I don't know, but I don't think you HAVE to. It's optional, I believe.

They ask or suggest tips in restaurants, if the group is large the restaurant calculates a tip and include it at the end of the ticket automatically. But, if you are not satisfied with the service, you can refuse to pay the tip and just the cost of the food / drinks plus tax.

Tips are optional, no restaurant manager can require its payment. Same with taxi or other services.

Yes. In restaurants, hotels, taxi etc. etc. Like any other place that you will usually do.
