Do you know any great carribean vacation spots? |
My family and I are thinking about going to the carribean either this summer, or next, and are looking at the all-inclusive resorts. Any suggestions would be great. We are also open to any other vacation spots that have warm beaches, and aren't too long of a flight. Thanks for your help! |

St. Maarten !
Scuba diving around Proselyte Reef.
Snorkeling and swimming and body boarding
Windsurfing at Orient Beach and Coconut grove.
Para sailing of Orient Beach
Sky Diving at Grand Case airport
Hiking – there are 25 miles of clearly defined footpaths running through the hills and along the shore.
Horseback riding
Best Beach for a Half-Day Visit : Mullet Bay
Best Beach for the Dedicated Beach Bum : Orient Beach , aka Baie Orientale, technically, is located in St. Martin but it's an easy taxi ride from Philipsburg. The beach has a section for nudists as well as more crowded areas. You can rent water gear and beach lounges, and there are numerous bars and food shacks. Windsurfing is good here and you can rent equipment.
Best Beach for Active Types : Dawn Beach for snorkeling and body surfing.
Secluded Beach : Cupecoy Beach , which has caves and rock cliffs, has lots of private nooks and crannies and Dawn Beach for snorkeling.
As St Maartens is 100% duty free almost anything. Best buys would be electrical goods, cameras ,gold, booze and cigarettes
Golf on the Dutch side at Mullet Bay .
Diving
you can rent the equipment at the scuba shop in Simpsonbay

St. Thomas & St. Johns really nice & not much trash. No cruises. Just fly straight there & stay for a week. |

Curacao has plenty to do, loads of places to do nothing, and plenty of fun. Different culture from most of the other islands, and a different weather as well because of it's location.

I'd recommend you take a Caribbean cruise. You'll likely get better all-inclusive service, food, and entertainment. Plus, you'll get to sample different ports of call (4 or 5 different places on a 7 day cruise). Also, the cost will be the same or less than most all-inclusives. And, you'll only need to fly (or drive if you live close enough) to Miami, or Tampa, or Houston, or any of the various other ports cruises leave out of nowadays.
Go to www.vacationstogo.com and click on "Find a Bargain" to start shopping for your cruise. |

Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril in Jamaica. You wont be disappointed. Jamaica is 3h and 45 minutes from NY, 1h and 15min from Florida. Jamaica Grande is an all inclusive hotel and the Rio which is located in Ocho Rios. |

I think cruising would be a great option if you are unfamiliar with the different islands of the Caribbean. You can visit several islands and then next time pick a particular island to visit for a longer period of time. I have great rates on cruises. For example I have a cruise currently that is $220 per person for an inside cabin and $260 per person for an outside cabin.
If you want an all-inclusive resort instead of a cruise, there are some many places to choose from. I would be happy to speak with you and help you pick a great vacation for you and your family. |

I went to the Cayman Islands once, and although we just stayed in a nice hotel, not all-inclusive, it was still the most beautiful place I have ever been. The water is breathtaking, and it is so much fun!! |

I have two words for you Cayman Islands. They are AMAIZING! Grand Cayman is great if you have a family there is a ton to do Swim with stingrays, hold baby turtles, museums, shopping, 7 mile beach. It's all there. I would recomend the Mariot or the Ritz if you have the $. But there are a ton of other places to stay.
The best thing about the Caymans is they are only an 1and a half hour flight from Tampa, Florida. It's a snap to get there and the islands are very safe. They have one of the lowest crime rates in the Carribean. |

A caribbean cruise is a great option. But, If your are looking for a budget all inclusive I suggest Dominican Republic. Maybe is a long trip but worth it. |

Just a friend.

Yes...Hawaii.
The Caribbean is grossly overrated, you can do much better at any of the Hawaiian islands. |
