I would imagine so!

No, if you are a US citizen and the cruise departs and returns to the US or US territory then you wont need a passport until January 2008.

Technically you do not need a passport for SEA travel until the next phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative ( the passport law) goes into effect as soon as an. 2008. However SOME cruise lines require their passengers to have passports...so the best thing to do is ASK the cruise line you plan to use. See website below to read the law for yourself.

Yes.

As of now, no. All you need is a birth certificate and a drivers license or an ID. However, starting in January of 2008, you will need a passport to go in and out of every country (including Mexico and Canada).

clarity_understanding_serenity
Not if you are a US citizen. You can travel on ID and birth certificates.. Get a passport anyway because that is changing soon and you don't want to be left in the cold when everyone else is warm in the Bahamas soakin up the sun! Other countries need passports to travel to the Bahamas.

Well .... It depends where your coming from ! If you live in the bahamas I would suspect not however if you live anywhere else in the world .... Then yes :-)
Enjoy the cruise
