Nope, still part of the U.S.

Actually they just had a "travel here commercial" the other day because you didnt have to have a passport.

Have fun!

Not if you're a US citizen.

KarateDude13
No if you a US citizen

This site should clear things up there in black and white

If you come from Spain, Venezuela or any other non USA country (international flight), yes.

If you come here via a domestic flight (i.e. from USA), no.

PR is an USA territory (organized & unincorpored territory).

Puerto Rico is a US territory, since 1898. Thus, there is currently no need for a passport if you are a US citizen.

tomcatace1992
Nope because it is a US territory US citizens do not need a passport to visit

Laura

not if your a US Citizen. Puerto Rico is a US Territory. If you are from a different country then yes you will . I would suggest double check with a travel agent.

Not if you are a US citizen. as a U.S. Commonwealth, passports are not required of U.S. citizens traveling to Puerto Rico

No. Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Therefore no passport needed.

Even though Puerto Rico is not a state, it is classified as a US Territory. I don't believe you need a passport if traveling there from the US.

No. PRicans are US citizens, just like you.

Funny Face
If you're american you need one or birth certificate and another form of I.d.

wiso
In the pass a passport was not needed to travel to puerto rico from the us. With today security issues, the government is now requesting a passport. As of today it is not official to have a passport to travel from the us. but you must have a valid id card. puerto rico is a Commonwealth of the us. Passport not required but coming!!!!! Passport not required but coming!!!!
