YES! I went there with my family when I was younger and had a blast. If you want to go to the Bahamas, Nassau is the best island to go to (I think). Depending on where you stay on the island, it's very close to Paradise Island (where the Atlantis resort is). I would reccomend staying on Nassau, but going over to Paradise Island during the day or even at night to eat or go to the beach. Depending on how old your kids are, you can rent a scooter and go over to Paradise Island, or you can take a taxi. Nassau doesn't have very large beaches, but they are ok and it has a good downtown area to eat and shop. The British Columbia Hilton there is very nice, although a little expensive, and it has it's own private beach.

nassau is a great spot......every island in the carribean is a little dirty but nassau and paradise island are great. it is all about where you stay...don't listen to these people....they probably stayed in dumps.....atlantis is one of the nicest hotels in the world and you are not going to find a better hotel in the carribbean. Although the melia in dominican republic has great things to offer...........take a look at punta cana

Depends. How old are your kids? Most of the larger resorts are kid friendly with Atlantis offering all sorts of activities that will keep the young 'uns happy all day, if needed. There are boating excursions or fishing trips that will keep 'em (and you) happy as well.

Nassau sounds fun and exotic, but if you're going, make sure that you're staying at a resort. Nassau is VERY dirty and trashy. At least it was last time I was there.
