We must set better examples for our kids we must instill in them self worthiness, moral integrity and the art in creating clean and pure thoughts.
It is strange how our music is degrading our women, referring to, and describing them as female dogs, demanding and commanding sexual acts, as if women are robots that just need a command, yet there are more women against the regulations than for it.
Our parents and grandparents has painted a picture of decency, righteousness and cleanliness for us.
Look at what we are painting for our kids.

I don't think soca is as bad as chuttney...they don't only make you blush,hide your face and open your mouth and eye big....and when the small kids sinning it,boy I wonder...

it is the mighty bucks though..money talks and bullsh** walks..in this case sing..

but why the jep with the red head that sting naina in she behinda aint band? hmmmm.....
the songs are so blatant these days that children know exactly what they're singing about and me in my 20's still squirm when it comes up on the radio when my parents around!
however this is what we have to accept as our world today, from music to tv, that vibe is out there but i still think for us, locally, artistes need to be a little more sensible when doing their songs...
i do think we have a lonnng way to go to class ourselves with some reggae dancehall, (thank god) thats just raw sex right there... just downright degrading....

honestly i love soca music and i'm jamaican but reggae music is divided into three sub categories which is dance hall, cultural and ska.i love cultural reggae more than dance hall but i also love dance hall even though i must admit sometimes it can be nasty but not all the time. love trinis!!!!

NO, Trinidadians just need to stop being hypocrites, thais all!
When will we stop comparing the two, l'm a Trini and l say if they singing smut and it have double intende and yuh could still decipher what they saying, then it means your mind just as corrupt, so l say let the music play on!
