If you plan on returning to the US then yes. A passport is required for reentry into the US. |

Yes, a US Citizen needs a passport to enter the BVI. The BVI is a British Territory and therefore proper identification will be needed before our Immigration department allows you to enter into the territory. Please walk with your valid US Passport to be able to enjoy our beautiful islands. |

Absolutely! we go every year and you need to go thru immigration before they will even think about letting you into the country or on the islands. Bring a passport or be prepared to turn right back around. |

If you are traveling by air, yes you do. If you are traveling by sea, then you do not until 1/08. Go to www.travel.state.gov and it will tell you what you will need and you can even apply on line through tat site. |

You need a passport if you plan to FLY. If you go by ferry or ship, no passport needed right now.
The requirements will change in the summer of 2008.
