It all depends on how severe the storm is. I have been on cruises many times through a storm. They just close the decks.

They can go through....
But also you need to state what sort of storm.. they will avoid a hurricane for example..
And for the benefit of the passengers, they will try to avoid bigger storms. |

yea they can go through one. they can detect these. My father works for costa cruiseline. they can detect the stranght. if its too strong they'll eaither re-schedule. or if there in water they'd go around. and they never sink, its rare ans if it was there enough boats for everyone.

Ships can't move quick enough to maneuver around a storm like a plane can. Although the Captain probably wouldn't go barreling into anything as powerful as a hurricane, most storms aren't really a problem for a large ship. |
