It would depend on your qualifications. But you can look in the malls many have stores that need English speaking people, the airport, Old San Juan, San Juan, Isla Verde, hotels, casinos, tour buses, restaurants, if you have computer skills that helps out a lot. Hospitals, and museums. El Morro which is in Old San Juan give out tours that is a plus because they are done in English. You can write a letter to hotels etc to see if they are accepting applications and take it from there. Good Luck! |

It all depends on your qualifications. But a good place to start, not knowing what you are looking for, is the hotel/ tourism scene (San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde). You can work in restaurants, hotels, casinos, in local shops, etc. Hotels and Casinos will offer a nice variety of job oportunities for any qualifications you may have. The idea about "clasificadosonline.com" is a very good one since you can start applying for jobs before you move here.
Do not be discouraged because you can't speak the language, but start learning key words of phrases that will become useful in your everyday life.
Good Luck!!! |

you can check out www.clasificadosonline.com or El Nuevo Dia classifieds section online on sundays. It may be hard b/c you don't speak spanish, keep trying to learn. to the other guy...FYI there are lots of reasons to move to PR. Don't be a hater! |

Good Luck, because is very hard to find a job in PR. Also, must of the jobs in PR required BS education |

What part of Puerto Rico are you moving to? If you can't speak Spanish and you are moving somewhere more inland then you are going to have trouble finding a job unless you are wanting to do traveling everyday. Your best bet is tourist areas. San Juan, Isla Verde, Ponce are some of the more tourist areas in Puerto Rico. Also if you go towards the Roosevelt Roads on the Eastern side (I believe) of the islanf you will find the military installations there so you may find employment there where you won't need to speak any Spanish at all.
Good luck because either way it's hard to finda job in Puerto Rico "a menos que tienes un padrino". |

I need to say the language barriers are going to be there when trying to get a job. I will start with any temporary work agency to get started. Depending on your back ground and where in PR, you can get anything you want, just expect hard work and not a big pay check.
Good Luck!. |
