As they say, it depends where you are.

There are flights to Cuba from Canada, Mexico, Panama, England, Spain, France, the Bahamas.

A useful website is:

http://www.nashtravel.com/gateways.html

(And I have no connection with that company).

I went to Cuba from Mexico, no problems

From Canada, prices are quite reasonable. The links below will let you know the prices.

You have to route your way through another country.

If you live in a state closer to Mexico , Cancun is the cheapest way...

If you are in the USA , and depending on which border is closer to you (Canada or Mexico), you can go to and purchase a flight or a vacation package from that country and make the trip. There shouldn't be a problem to re-enter the US nor any other country.

Im guessing you mean from the US?
The US embargo of Cuba is pretty rough. And even more so with the home defense thing. Actually you can travel directly to Cuba from the US with the proper gov permission. Americans can travel to Cuba legally if you are a Cuban American, politician, journalist or if you have a research project regarding Cuba. Others including students, religious groups, and humanitarians can apply for a license from the U.S. Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

You can go to another country, then to Cuba. But you still have to have the proper papers from the US. At minimum a Visa or Passport is needed now to leave the country, even to go to Canada or Mexico or places that dont require it to get in. And to go to Cuba you have to ask permission from the US government or you will have trouble getting back into the US. Travelers who fail to comply will face civil penalties and criminal prosecution upon return to the United States.

malandrazaine2004 is very wrong, there will be a problem reentering the US after traveling to Cuba. If you are an American citizen then you cannot travel to Cuba without a license from the Office of Foreign Assets and Control. Traveling to Cuba without the license is a violation of the sanctions.

I LOVE TWILIGHT MORE THAN YOU DO

Yes, it's very simple. Go to Miami, Fla. When you see a bunch of dark skinned people unload from a home made boat, buy it from them, it should be super cheap. Make sure the Coast Guard isn't following you and then go in a reverse direction from the other home mades heading toward Miami.
Eventually this will get you to Cuba. One thing tho, YOU'RE in trouble when you return home, cause it's illegal for U.S. citizens to go there. From all of the Cubans in THIS country, the U S Govt doesn't care if millions of Cubans come HERE!!!
