The voltage in Jamaica is 110, so your 220volt UK stuff will work, sort of, but very very weakly!
It could take you a week to get your hair done, and with the heat and humidity your hair will rapidly frizz up and return to its previous state!
My suggestion? Have your hair trimmed short before you go, so you can spend 30 seconds a day getting it right, and enjoy the sights, sounds and sun of the Carribean instead.
Just imagine, jumping straight into the azure sea, a quick shower when you come out, then straight to the beach bar where there is a cocktail lovingly prepared for you...............
If you must do the fancy hair, buy some straighteners out there and save the weight of a transformer in your luggage.

Just buy some dual voltage hair straighteners and then you will only need a plug adaptor. Corioliss do a great model in pink, and they work brilliantly

No a normal adapter will work (the American style with the 2 round pins) Just back from Negril - you will have a wonderful time.

Survivors Ready?
Assuming you're in the US, they use the same electrical current we do! If from Europe, you will probably need an adaptor.

You don't need any adapters and just go get your hair done, it's not 80 us dollars anymore so u should be able to afford it
